A Bit About Me

Hi! I'm Farhad Mofidi. I'm a foodie, an avid 49er fan, and a competitive party game player (that somehow always loses). My values are connection, adventure, and courage, and I love finding hidden gems near the beach and challenging myself with solo travel. I'm also a therapist and private practice owner in the San Francisco Bay Area in California.

My Journey to This Work

My journey wasn't a straight line. I experienced a period in my life filled with hopelessness, anxiety, and a feeling of being isolated. Even after trying all the typical things like traditional therapy and engaging in hobbies, that constant feeling of not being good enough just wouldn't go away. This left me feeling discouraged. It took time and the right kind of support to begin working through those struggles. Through that process, I learned how to manage challenging obstacles and began living a life more aligned with my values.

My Commitment to You

Over time, I realized I have a strong desire to help gentle souls with a big heart who beat themselves up relentlessly, even after trying many different ways to manage these negative thoughts. My commitment is to help you find a sense of peace within yourself. I want to help you work through these issues so you can live a more meaningful and authentic life. You deserve to feel confident, happy, and loved.

How We’ll Work Together

I know how exhausting it is for someone like yourself with a big heart to relentlessly beat yourselves up. In our work together, I'll provide you with practical skills to help you quiet these negative thoughts so they lose their power. You’ll feel a greater sense of peace, feel more confident, and live a life that is truly your own. The most rewarding part of therapy for me is seeing my clients truly begin to view themselves in a positive, new light.
